Well its been an interesting path that I have been on and I must that all the staff on willow ward in Northampton general hospital have been very very good

Will be getting a first fitting for my new evil leg in a couple of months once all the swelling has gone down and I have started to wear my shrinker stocking
Which looks something like a stocking a dwarf would wear but with less sexeh and more Nora batty and when the stump is nice and thin with a good length the people at the leg place will then put me through nasty nasty exercise which when you see me and my body of an athlete built like a Donisthorpe and me in a dwarf stocking is just a little bit strange.

This is a normal post Yes it is a bit of a wibblywobbley path
But could easily be down to my wife pushing the wheelchair.

On a more serious note though is the dramatic reduction in my intake of massive drugs.
I was at a dreadful point in life where the pain killers where not working and I was taking more and more of then each day I was taking morphine liquid and tablets along with several other big hitters.

But the moment I woke from the operation I was a different person it felt like all the years of pain and hurt had finally allowed me access to my real self.
The difference so dramatic that even the surgeon on his round the next day said I was sitting like a different person to who had operated on the day before.

The only problem I have had with pain was due to a blood clot that had formed when the drain got blocked.
Since then all my meds have been cut down to almost nothing and are being reduced on a week by week basis.
