Except... I have a house with a cheap mortgage, a job that fore-fills me creatively, a fiancé that loves me and 2 cats.

"Feral cats ``the size of dogs’’ have been terrorising Moorooka residents for more than a year, with one resident and her dog mauled just last week."
That's what you get for having dogs the size of rats.

the ONS will go "Oooops! We got our sums wrong again! When we said that the economy had contracted what we actually meant was it had expanded".

this number is the preliminary number based on only about 40% of the total data required and they've been pretty clear about it too.
Economic stats like this are always adjusted later, and it tends to be adjusted upwards since getting the estimate wrong the other way round would be a *bad thing*.

I just wish that with something that has so much impact on how people perceive the economic situation they could wait until they had better numbers.
I know they are quite clear about how the numbers are calculated but our wonderful media usually tags that on at the end of their articles screaming "Recession! Double Dip!".
