Wouldn't be difficult. BBC comedy has pretty much sucked balls for over a decade.

That was quite amusing.

I think I'd like it if they picked a good one and kept them on for a whole series. Jo Brand, for example, usually pisses me off but she did well a few weeks ago.

Christ, it was lame. Was this a particularly poor edition, or are they all like that?

Also I prefer the ones where Ian Hislop does a lot more talking than Paul Merton.

of Not Going Out, it is just totally unfunny. And the constant city-scape cutaways are irritating. You are not Seinfeld or Freinds, so don't try to be.

Live at the Apollo - Series 7 - Episode 2
This episode from the world famous Hammersmith Apollo features Sean Lock as host. Special guests are the inimitable Ed Byrne and the 'well good' Lee Nelson.

when it comes to comedy (apart from that lee nelson shit). Its a shame they dropped Mongrels.
ITV, Sky, Comedy? Does. Not. Compute.

to write a sitcom for BBC One? They are too sugary even for Ned Flanders to watch.

HIGNFY is infinitely better post Deyton. He was nothing but an autocue reader. The stand in presenter idea is great - and the bashing Clarkson on Friday was lovely.
Not Going Out is funny - a return to the old fashioned studio sitcom that actually works - good gags, well executed.
Two good shows a amongst mostly shit comedy roster.
