Blue Peter Annual 1981 or 1982 had a couple of pages dedicated to Joey.
The fine folks at Spleen! got hold of a copy, and put it on the web with suitable annotations and captions.
Choice examples being "Tom couldn't read or write but taught himself to type" (Spleen! annotation: "How EXACTLY would that work?")
Photo of Joey, Ernie and Tom in their spacca chariots, SPLEEN! caption: "After a heavy session Ernie leads the stampede to the kebab shop".
They also had pages and pages of photos and videos sent in by readers of themselves, their loved ones etc "Doing The Deacon".
Spleen! died for a bit, then came back as Judascow, and then died again and came back again but without any of the good stuff.

Sounds great, I defintiely missed something there.
Let's hope it is archived somewhere, I miss tjpffwa at smash.com (the jurassic park fan fiction writers association) they used to have the most gif animated site ever with the jurassic park theme tune playing in midi in the background, it was frankly fucking hilarious. URL belongs to some shitbag crockery company now though. Dude, it makes you feel old when the internet gets old. What the fuck. I am going to watch team america now, that is YOUR fault! :)
