I just have a horrid imagination, it conjured up images of squashed babies and broken necks etc. so it dulled my entertainment a bit.
I get that sort of imagery in my head when standing at the top of the stairs in my house as well.
I don't think I like stairs much...

Well...
I didn't exactly 'fall' down stairs.
When I was little (about 2+) I liked to throw myself down the stairs for some reason, I even remember doing it once having coaxed my cousin to join in. All I remember is reaching the bottom and looking at him laughing, then slowly shifting to crying uncontrollably as the pain registered.
My dad then installed a gate at the top.
