Apparently it is a: "Mesoscale Convective System shelf cloud rolling in over Ashford Kent with a roll cloud underneath"

This is a normal post Yeaah, but roll cloud only develops in the lee of hills. The lee of the White Cliffs is pretty much sea.
Inland of them it's the gentle slopes of the Downs. Not conducive for roll cloud.
