Pretty strong correlation between being thick and being very religious.
I like the woman at the end who went to the coast with a ruler. Never once did she wonder why ships disappear over the horizon.

The ships question is very easy to answer.
Every sailor is an Illuminati soldier sworn to keep the secret. When they get to the edge they paint the ship to blend in with the sky. They disappear. This is why you don't see canal barges on the open ocean. It has nothing to do with the instability of a barge on the sea but is in fact because the intricate drawings of roses on the sides of barges are impossible to cover up. Wake up sheepie! Your so called science can't answer everything.

And what are the illuminati doing once they get to the edge?
Firming up against the firmament?

Makes sense.
If you were going to have a massive bumathon you wouldn't want to hold it where Christians could ruin your fun.

Yep
Being pressured not to question or think clearly, just accept what you are told, helps.

It wouldn't surprise me if proportionately more people thought the world was flat than round
now than at any time in the past.
Woo! progress.

They say people used to think the earth was flat.
My guess is that probably almost no-one thought that because almost no-one would even have bothered to consider to themselves what shape it was at all.
They probably considered if this patch of land was going to grow a fucking bean or if they were going to die of hunger.

the ancient greeks not only knew that the earth was round
but also knew the circumference!
they did it by digging wells. perfectly straight wells.
in different places. then at the same time they would measure how far the shadow of the well itself went down. from that information they knew the curvature.

I was trying to tell a flat earther that if the earth were flat we could see Mount Everest from Los Angeles.
He said that there was too much air, so we couldn't see that far. I am convinced that the dumbing down of the human race is nearly complete.
