This is a link post I've decided to re-engine my car.
It'll chew fuel a bit, but it'll pull an ocean liner through wet cement.

You can normally only hear it with big engines like that.

This is a normal post That is pretty cool
Question for the technically minded, is the fact that some of those exhaust pipes were glowing but others not, indicative of poor performance of those cylinders or of better combustion in those cylinders?

Also, is that the old merlin engine from a plane or tank?
(, Sun 7 Jun 2015, 18:06, , Reply)
This is a normal post A meteor engine is a heavier and less powerful and less complicated version of the merlin that runs on lower octane / non-aero fuel
bit like removing the turbos from a high performance & lightweight car engine and replacing all of the fancy unobtanium bits with cheaper & heavier steel ones
and one of the cylinders (the one with the not-glowing exhaust pipe) is fucked

The joy of piston engines, I may not know much about them, but I know what I like.
