Monkey's Uncles
I made this!
Been playing with this photogrammetry lark and for my first try picked this huge statue (bigger than me) that I bought in Bali. Pretty amazing what this stuff can do!
Uses WebGL to display the 3D model, if it doesn't work on your browser well... sucks to be you! sorreh.
Might take a few to load and display, be patient or, well, don't be patient, as you prefer.
EDIT: Seems their website is crap. Regularly resets project to private, this seems to work tho.

Nice. How does that work then? (assuming no magnets involved!)
Do you have to make the surface and then map pictures to it, or does it generate a wireframe itself?

Interesting....
Was this just from photos or do you have one of them fancy 3d scanners?

It's magic basically
YOu just wander round taking zillions of photos and Autodesk Remake scans them and magically reconstructs the 3D immage.
Needed to edit in Blender to fix a few things, but not much effort. Amazing stuff

Have you tried uploading it to sketchfab? Haven't tried the autodesk stuff since 123DCATCH , but sketchfab is very friendly and gives you automatic google cardboard/vr functionality for free.
Nice statue, btw

Had a look at sketchfab but it complained the model was too big =/
I guess I would have to learn how to simplify it, textures, mesh etc. None of which I know how to do =)

Have you tried Agisoft Photoscan? It's 100 quid a license, but you can get a 30 day trial as many times as you've got email addresses ;)
Also, meshlab or meshmixer are both free (I think) and give options for decimating meshes - meshmixer is much easier to use...

Ah so decimating is what I need to look into.
Remake has that option, will check it out tomorrow. Time fer bed! Cheers
