This is a normal post I've seen the first stage done in China but that second burn changing the colour....

This is a normal post One of the comments says it's paint on wood.
So I guess the first pass is just a shallow cut into the paint and the second is deeper.

I assumed it was metal at first.

They'll do 3mm stainless so Balsa should be easy. We also have 20-odd 3D printers as well.
