What you say is true. But what really annoyed me was the delivery, it clearly demonstrated a total lack of understanding of the context, and the play as a whole. Just some twat showing off. He may well have got his comeuppance, but he should have died. Like they all do, in that masterpiece. Mel Gibson is a prick, but he delivers well in Zeffirelli's film. I recommend it. Heartily.

I found I got gigs not because I was any good, but because people liked that I put the passion into what I did. Bum notes are forgiven if they think you are really crying over lost love. I got away with a lot of bum notes. I think acting is the same. Believe the part and you can never be shit.
