I dislike the BNP so very very much.
And it deeply saddens me when they mention how many people voted for them at various elections.

I love my country, I love it's culture, I love it's multiculturalism. Although it's frustrating that these idiots parading themselves as a political party have a right to voice their opinion, I guess it's indicative of a certain percentage of the population.

That said, I will leave the country if they ever get in...would rather be an immigrant in another country, than a native of a fascist state.

Interesting.
I hope that when the BNP go on question time, it will be a balanced view. Not that I like the BNP, complete opposite, but it still is not right to have one guy versus a whole audience. Not saying the National Front should turn up either, but it should be balanced.

I agree.
The more the BNP is marginalised, the more nutters it will attract, and the more extreme it will become.

The reason the BNP has risen to prominence is because the major political parties are too afraid to tackle perceived issues with immigration because they are afraid of being branded racist. The BNP has carved its niche on this issue. If the other parties had a proper debate then the BNP wouldn't exist!

I would NEVER vote BNP because it's clearly run by idiots. But let them go on question time. Let them have their voice, and let them sound stupid. Pretending we can't hear them is playing to their game.

If a major political party said they were going to make a sensible informed study into how the UK boarders, immigration and asylum can be controlled, then I think they would attract voters away from the BNP. There is no reason to be racist about it. There is no reason to "chuck out the wogs" or any such bullshit. There is no middle ground in politics, that is the problem.

I heard this the other day
And I was stunned at how badly this BNP chap shoots himself in the foot. If he represents the calibre of intellect over there, I'm all for them being on QT, and will be tuning in expectantly tonight.
