I love Chain Reaction, but the BBC hasn't made the episodes available as mp3s, at least outside the UK, but at least available on iPlayer. The Reeves & Mortimer one was available on BBC's Comedy of the Week -podcast (with nice bit of stand-up by Alex Edelman).
Fist of Fun and other Lee & Herring stuff is available as mp3s at fistoffun.net. Been listening to them again and it's still good.

Tantrums and taking my ball and leaving: US quietly declassifies report on Israel nuke program, but blacks out info on France, Germany, etc.
I have searched for a non-Israelis report of this but find none. Ostensibly, the "powers" in the several countries did not formally acknowledge the program's existence in order to prevent a Middle East arms race.
Those of you who can get a raft to the US after the nuke holocaust can kick for a few nights in my basement.

FREE SHIT!
I made this!
It appears that my band's label - Gamma Proforma - are giving away a lot of stuff for free now! My band, Fatalists, are among that number, but there are also albums from neo-electro Birdhead (mates of ours, and of T in the Park fame) and hip-hop guru Divine Styler, if that's your bag.
Our lovely label write-up is thus:
'Edinburgh's prog-punk trio Fatalists have a mighty rep. Rave reviews in Rock Sound, BBC Radio sessions. If you're new to their work, they've been compared to The Jesus Lizard & Kyuss in the press. 'Unwelded' is a well thought-out album with a lot of depth, all of their back catalogue is now available to download for free.'
So if you're into some new, diverse and all-importantly gratis sounds, get round it right here! Cheers!

The difficulty of making accurate drawings of objects as minute as many of the Algae and Conferae, has induced me to avail myself of Sir John Herschel’s beautiful process of Cyanotype, to obtain impressions of the plants themselves.

Though of all of them, he's supposed to be the conscience of the house, the guy who makes sure it's not all snide personal attacks and that people answer the questions they are asked. Problem is he's been taking sides, getting in his own cronies, offering his own opinon and dropping the ball on things like not letting it be about him - and that's part of the reason behind Hague's dirty tricks - not that it excuses them.

I'm not disagreeing, he's the same as most of the rest of them.
They could do with be reminded that they are conscience of the people and should act accordingly.
My wife is a teacher and she said something interesting a while back, in that they (the teachers) rule by consent. And that if the kids all collectively decided otherwise then there wouldn't be a fat lot they could do about it.

I hardly think it constitutes dirty tricks.
He's been a woeful speaker, cynical and not at all even handed, and often becoming the centre of the story, absolutely not what the speaker should be. Back in 2000, on the very same subject, i.e. a secret ballot for the election of the speaker, one Tory M.P. had this to say:
"In view of growing concern that the government whips will seek to browbeat people into voting for a preferred candidate, can we have guidance on the possibility of ensuring that the election will be conducted by secret ballot?"
His name? John Bercow. Given his well documented bias, M.P.s fear voting for a change in procedure he is now not in favour of, as they know he is inclined to treat those he doesn't like unfavourably.
47% of M.P.s voted for a change to the current procedure. This is far from a ringing endorsement for the man who is supposed to have the best interests of the House and its democratic procedures foremost in his mind.
