: ROGER MOORE REQUIEM
Like you've never seen him before.

Dan Chambers is an animator. He's famous for
his pygmy shrew cartoon which was seen by
  millions of net users.

  Dan writes -

"I like to make funny animations. I have just
finished one called Roger Moore's Requiem.

"It twins the themes of Verdi's Requiem and
Roger Moore, which I believe only about
two or three dozen people have ever done
  before me..."

: RORY MCGRATH SPIDER GAME

  Rico Monkeon writes -

"I made this puzzle game based around Rory
McGrath and Spiders - I think it comes across
  like an insect snuff movie."

The idea? Rory is a great big radio-active
spider (of course!) You have to make him fall
down by clicking on his feet.

It's a tough challenge. Are you ready for it?

: SINGING KITTEN
  It's a kitten! It sings!

A while ago we made a kitten that sang, "I Love
  You."

  This went down very well.

We've decided to follow it up. However this time
  the kitten is rather sad.

  It's very moving.

: WHAT B3TA PEOPLE HAVE BEEN MAKING THIS WEEK
Animations, Naming Babies and Odd Music

  >> 404 page <<
You know when you click on a link and the page
has gone? That's called a 404 error. Brian
Millar has made nice relaxing page to soften
the blow. It's based on the old Hamlet cigar
  TV ads. Lovely.
http://www.baker-street.net/404/

  >> Signs Animation <<
Goz has made a lovely cartoon about road
  signs. It's brilliantly animated.
http://www.animation.me.uk/personalanimations.html

  >> Kung Fu Animation <<
Tomsk has made another episode in his
regular series, Mint. This one is a martial
  arts tour de force.
http://www.tomandphil.myby.co.uk/mint/kungfu.html

  >> Mutant Pet Generator <<
Jpg has been conducting genetic experiments
in Flash. You can now combine 6 animals into
all sorts of hybrids. Oh - and a brick.
http://www.room32.com.au/maul2/mutant.html

  >> Name the baby <<
Remember we asked you to a name a child? Well
we're asking again. This time An-D and his
"sex chicken wife" need your help. Currently
the highest vote is for "weebl". Poor child.

  >> Peculiar music. Lots of it. <<
For quite some time Koit has been making songs
based on ideas people have sent him. He's now
got lots and wants you to vote on the best
  ones.

: SITES IN BRIEF
Stuff we like that wasn't made by our mates.

  >> The 'Sport' of Cup Stacking <<
A video of a girl stacking some plastic cups
really fast. Sounds dull? It's not - she's mind
bogglingly quick. Is it for real? We don't know,
  but it's fascinating to watch.
http://www.speedstacks.com/qt_lg.html

  >> Jackass - so much to answer for <<
These Australian chaps have compiled load of
video clips of them doing dangerous stunts.
You'll go "ow." You'll say "eeeh." Channel 5!
Sign them up! Or stop them before they seriously
  hurt themselves.
http://www.pickledeggs.tv/clips.html

  >> Put your pictures on a big building <<
Last year blinkenlights developed an idea to
turn a Berlin tower block into VDUs with each
window representing a pixel. This year?
They're coming to Paris and they want you to
submit images for them to display. Cool.

  >> Pictures of people taped to the wall <<
The Duct Tape Guys, Tim Nyberg and Jim Berg,
are blokes who have dedicated their lives to
duct tape. They've written 4 books about the
stuff. In the name of PR they occasionally
tape themselves to walls. Well, it's a living
  we suppose.
