Christ, yes.The '-gate' thing especially pisses me off in Big Brother season, when desperate producers and writers attempt to glean stories from the piffling non-events of the house. Hence if someone forgets to wash up a teaspoon at breakfast and someone else grumbles about it in passing, by lunchtime the likes of Heat will be dragging three pages out of 'Spoongate'.
Wierdly, I don't remember them talking about 'DanielleLloydIsaMassiveFuckingRacistgate'.
