This is a question I don't understand the attraction

Smaug says: Ricky Gervais. Lesbian pr0n. Going into a crowded bar, purely because it's crowded. All these things seem to be popular with everybody else, but I just can't work out why. What leaves you cold just as much as it turns everyone else on?

clubs
i f**king hate clubs! they are loud, there is no space, you cant smoke a pipe, no house slippers allowed, and what are these girls wearing - i wear more than that in the shower! :D

but seriously - i hate clubs - never got on with them at uni - dont think i ever will! :D

Agreed.
The only attraction of clubs is that they are frequented by women. Usually fat, drunk squealing whores.

For the most part I would agree with you
I like the Oceana chain though. They've got loads of rooms to suit loads of tastes of music and then there are the chillout bar areas.

Quite a civillised way to go clubbing

never been there
i went to route 66 - that was dire. my house mates used to go to this one called envy - no thanks said i! :D

I agree too
And not just because I'm a boring old fart. Even when I was a young fart, I hated them. I have enough trouble making small talk somewhere quiet, and hate having to shout in someone's ear to make myself heard.

Can't get any pleasure from that at all.

thats what i find
how can you chat if you have to shout :( probably why the toilets are so popular :D

I agree up to a point
I love a bit of filthy club-club, but when they are bad they are just the worst. Having had some brilliant nights having a good old rave up my tolerance for bad clubs is absolute zero.

If you're not into the music they are playing then there's absolutely no point in being there.

Aah but Rev
It's more fun than shaking your booty in your living room.
(, Thu 15 Oct 2009, 19:08, closed)
you've never seen my booty in my living room
its a danger to all around :D i'm far safer at home! :D
(, Thu 15 Oct 2009, 20:01, closed)
Agreed!
The only time I liked them was before I was legally allowed to be in them, as somewhere to be when we were drunk (not getting drunk in there-who could afford that on pocket money?) and to dance.

I prefer pubs now, or if I'm totally honest a picnic with lots of cool bags full of beer. Yum
