This is a question Controversial Beliefs

Some mugs still think the MMR injection gives children autism (it doesn't), while others are of the belief that we're ruled by billionaire lizard people. Tell us about views outside the mainstream which people go glassy eyed if you bang on about them (Your grandad's a racist - no need to tell us, thanks)

I found him funny and I'm almost inevitably right about this sort of thing.
And every other sort of thing.

Partly because his style has now become mainstream
Due to imitators and joke thieves *cough*Dennis Leary*cough*

At the time, he definitely seemed more "out there" than most other stand-ups. Then again, so did Ben Elton, about a decade earlier...

George Carlin was always far better

The more popular he became the less I liked him.

Unlike Mitch Hedberg

He needs to come up with some new material. Dying almost 20 years ago isn't an excuse.

Main problem was
He did the same thing for a very very long time. Some of it was funny. A lot of it was just like a lecture in common sense.

I used to quote him in my sig

"lets face it we're a virus with shoes"
