This is a question My Biggest Disappointment

Often the things we look forward to the most turn out to be a huge let down. As Freddy Woo puts it, "High heels in bed? No fun at all. Porn has a lot to answer for."

Well, Freddy, you are supposed to get someone else to wear them.

What's disappointed you lot?

Flavoured condoms
ooh two in a row, I'm on a roll.

They don't taste good and even if they did, why would anyone be licking them?

I don't understand the point behind them at all.

Jonathan Ross knows...
...his 13 yr old son was present when the subject was mentioned on the TV or something and Ross was a little unsure how to explain it, when his son piped up with:

"Oh, I know that, it's because sometimes people smuggle drugs inside them and they have to eat them"

Bless.

Ahhh
It all becomes clear!!

Although....why banana flavoured? Even drug smuggling people whose mouths are probably mostly numb wouldn't like that flavour....

Apparently the mint one burns. Hehe.

If by mint you mean the tingly ones...
they're fantastic. It's like going off in a Polo factory...

They are wrong
the ex used to buy them for sex. Just as I was getting into it, the synthetic smell of banana put me right off.

Happy days.

Surely..
If you wanted banana-scented sex you'd...use a banana....

I wonder what the marketing research behind it was. "People love bananas. People love sex. It's win win."

The reason:
Flavoured condoms are not really meant for penetrative sex. They should have a warning on them as such. They are for use during oral sex, that's why they are flavoured (!). Because yes, safer sex (especially with strangers or people you haven't been with to be STI screened) should always include condoms, even oral sex. And here endeth the midwife's lesson on contraception and preventing yourself getting horrible diseases.

I have to admit that I don't tend to use condoms for oral sex though and it niggles in my mind that I don't which means I know it's bad. :(
