This is a question My Biggest Disappointment

Often the things we look forward to the most turn out to be a huge let down. As Freddy Woo puts it, "High heels in bed? No fun at all. Porn has a lot to answer for."

Well, Freddy, you are supposed to get someone else to wear them.

What's disappointed you lot?

Non-stop disapointment
I read all these tales of disappointment with a knowing smile and sympathetic nod. I have a disappointment that has come to rule my life. Not a day goes by when this monster of woe fails to creep into my consciousness and bring the best of days slamming down into a pit of despair. There are times when I just want to sit in a corner and cry, times when I want to scream and shout until the pain goes away. And those who don't understand. Oh, they know not how close they walk to feeling the full physical force of the wrath that builds inside me every time they make a glib comment about this thing that crushes my very soul. It has been with me all my life and no amount of therapy, drugs or self help will ever force it from my personality, I'm stuck with it, forever. It's terrible.

You see, I'm a Liverpool FC fan. On paper, they should be winning just about everything they turn their hand to but on the pitch is a different story.

Disappointment: I name thee Liverpool!

And don’t even get me started on the England team.

Amen, brother!
they always manage to fuck it up somehow
do you think we could delude ourselves into thinking that they lose on purpose, out of the goodness of their hearts, just to let less awesome teams have a win?

That's nothing
you want to try being a Scotland fan. We haven't ever won anything. Ever. At all.

Not bitter, though. No sirree. More, well, resigned.

We can only hope...

Then we might stand a chance!

I hope we don't sign Robbie Keane, he isn't a patch on Crouch, Torres or Kuyt.

TBH
I'm not a big fan of Crouch. Yeah, he scores goals, but that's it.

Kuyt creates chances, runs the entire 90 minutes, and fights for every chance.

Torres fights for the ball, runs with it, and is a sublime passer of the ball if needs be.

I just think Keane could make a real impact at Anfield.

A lot of people would agree with you, I just think Crouch gives you something different.

I think he will be sold before the start of the season so we will have to buy another striker. I'm sure there are better options than Keane.

Keane
I met Robbie Keane a good few years ago. Nice lad. He was playing for Wolves at the time and we needed someone to do some motion capture for us, the main two criteria being: 1) must be a profesional footballer and 2) must be same height and weight as Michael Owen. Robbie fitted the bill.

I have a photo of me stood chatting to him somewhere.
