Ah yes, a good film.Disturbing at points matybe. But then it is a japanese gangsta film with strong saedo-masohistic themes. So what would you expect?? ;)

A most disturbing filmbut absolutely awesome! I remember watching it with my flatmates and having an arguement over who was more badass Ichi himself or Kakihara. Kakihara won 'cause well he ate a dudes hand. Takashi Miike films are usually pretty good for disturbing you.

I've seen the animé version...I used to own it. Until I lent it to a mate and he got his bag nicked with it in it. Havn't seen a copy anywhere since.
