This is one of my favesI had a 13 year old patient who was somewhat confused about how labour would progress.
Me: "Do you understand how the baby is going to get out?"
Her: "Erm, no."
Me: "Hmmm. Well, you understand how the baby got in, right?"
Her: (vacantly) "Er, noooo."
Me: "Oh God."
