...I got so spanked I hallucinated a man on horseback in the middle of the dancefloor.

A man. On a horse. On the dancefloor.

At this point I remember thinking it was a good idea if I have a sit down, so I attempted to make my confused and unsteady way over to the comfy looking sofas at the back of the dancefloor.

Sofas weren't there either.

I've seen everyone on the dancefloor wearing dressing gowns while pushing shopping trolleys and a barn full of giant ducks wearing boxing shorts. Avast!

...and with good reason. Another time I looked round to find everyone had those Maori facial tattoos, and my then girlfriend had grass and daisies growing out of her head.
