This is a question The nicest thing someone's ever done for me

In amongst all the tales of bitterness and poo, we occasionally get fluffy stories that bring a small tear to our internet-jaded eyes.

In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.

Failing that, what nice things have you done for other people, whether they liked it or not?

My girlfriend
agreed to get brown curtains.

Now she won't be able to see where I've wiped my knob.

I was worried as to where you were going with the 'brown curtains'.
The knob-wiping doesn't seem so bad.

But we'll tell her.

It's evil, it's funny and it amused me.

I misread that.
I thought she agreed to let you get your brown wings.

Either way it's still nice...

The brown wings...
Are probably 'in the post' - she's obviously been reading B3ta and is all prepped for the occasion...

On a (kind of) erlated note: I once wiped on a pair of very light cream curtains - and got away with it. Result!

Feck - if she reads this I'm dead...
