In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.

Great stuff.As for me, when all is said and done all the approvals, achievements & accolades from friends & peers will pale in comparison to the quiet thanks & hugs from my kids.
Captain, the best bit is that your example to the rest of us gives us a goal to work towards in our relationships with our own kids. Well done.
