Our Ginger Fuhrer says that he could still code up a simple game idea in Amstrad Basic, while I'm your man if you ever need to rebuild the suspension on an Austin Allegro (1750 Equipe version). This stuff doesn't leave your mind - tell us about obsolete talents you still have.

that'll work so long as your E is in tune
alternatively turn the peg till they sound right. Knowing what notes a guitar should be tuned to is hardly a talent, tuning by ear is

I appear to be the only person on Earth who can remember EADGBE without a mnemonic but I find it really difficult to tell which is the higher of 2 notes with slightly different timbres. Which makes it an absolute sod tuning a guitar by ear. I'm slightly more succesful if I use harmonics and beat frequencies.
