Evening, fuckers.
I've had a busy day and now I am chilling the fuck out.
Turns out the French are a bunch of gays who can't play rugby if it's a bit cold. Obviously never played on a concrete-hard UK school playing field.

Weren't you listening?
Also, job hunting, but that's not something I can get enthusiastic about.

I'm not desperate yet.
That's when my enthusiasm levels will raise.

How was your first day?
I hope the bigger boys didn't steal your lunch money or refuse to tell you where the toilets are.

Really good thanks.
4 hour 1:1 with my boss to start, which gave me a good grasps of what's required. Then met some of my direct reports. Will meet the rest of them, their teams and my external agencies over the next week.
Nice people, good atmosphere and four added to my "would" list.
Didn't even need lunch money - my boss paid for my plaice and chips. Found where I can smoke and a clean shitter for my morning dump.
Overall score 8/10.

2 projects. Not too much mess, more in need of acceleration than anything else.
Capex & revenue budgets in place, resource allocated. 4 months until first pilot. Could be a lot worse.

Is the strategic plan already in place, or is that still to be signed off?

In case you didn't know.
The 'all you can eat free salad' thing has already been done.

I was also disappointed to hear another lot already had the piri piri chicken gig sown up.

There is that moment when you're about to eat piri piri chicken when you remember you don't like it.
It happens in a Nando second.

That's a good point. It hasn't arrived yet.
I'll call them and find out where it is.
