Thanks to my employer's generous holiday allowance and my tendency to put off booking holidays till the last minute, my weekend has been four days long. Next week I'm not in till Thursday, so until then I'm going to drink and smoke myself to oblivion.

Really fucking busy weekend here, doing shit with kids.
Yesterday took my son to a storytelling thing at the RSC in Stratford then to a play at the MAC in Birmingham.
Today we took him and his cousin to an outdoor bounds type thing near Tamworth, which involved orienteering, den building, fire lighting and eating baked potatoes.
I'm bloody knackered.
Now drinking beer.

kings heath park just up the road is better
it's dead whenever cannon hill is packed, so you can take your bottle of chilled white and a book and your ipod and barely see anyone bar the occasional dog walker even on the sunniest days. bliss.
