Really fucking busy weekend here, doing shit with kids.
Yesterday took my son to a storytelling thing at the RSC in Stratford then to a play at the MAC in Birmingham.
Today we took him and his cousin to an outdoor bounds type thing near Tamworth, which involved orienteering, den building, fire lighting and eating baked potatoes.
I'm bloody knackered.
Now drinking beer.

I really like it
They have some good stuff, although sadly I mostly get to see the kids stuff. The park next to it is really nice too.

kings heath park just up the road is better
it's dead whenever cannon hill is packed, so you can take your bottle of chilled white and a book and your ipod and barely see anyone bar the occasional dog walker even on the sunniest days. bliss.

there's no kiddies play area
which is why it's dead and cannon hill's heaving. I have had numerous cheeky smokes in that park and never once been bothered by anyone.

It was good to be able to charge around like nutters outside in the sunshine too. It has been winter for too long, i think we are all ready for spring now.
