Oi PD! Over here
Stupid iPad makes all the text tiny, the further over to the right we get.
As I said, you and my friend seem to share opinions on hip hop, amongst others. In which same you should check out Death Grips, who I mentioned the other night, as that came from him.
In other news, I now have At Action Park on.

Do you like The Auteurs?
And I am a massive Primal Scream fan.

ps Todd Trainer is one of my favourite drummers.

Apparently Scream are supporting the Stone Roses on the Friday.
Which is when I have a ticket for.
(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 22:38, Reply)
That will be a long day for Mani.

(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 22:39, Reply)
I don't know who has replaced him in Scream.

(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 22:40, Reply)
They never had a permanent bass player until he joined in 1996 anyway.
But you should note that he was in the Scream longer than he was in the Roses.

Is he not playing in both bands on that day?
(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 22:42, Reply)
No idea.
You'll have to ask him yourself.

The Auteurs were great
My missus is a big fan.
Did you get Haines' latest album? It sold out from amazon before I got it and I got side-tracked with buying other stuff, but I liked what little is have heard from it.
Up your street too, Jeff - a concept album about British wrestlers of the 70s and 80s
(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 22:43, Reply)
I think of Rory Lyon as being the Luke Haines of B3ta.

(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 22:43, Reply)
And Quinten is the Ringo Starr.

(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 22:56, Reply)
By which you mean underrated and unfairly maligned?

(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 23:04, Reply)
No, rightly derided as a talentless cunt riding on the coat tails of slightly more able contributors.
In the case of OT, Bert, Al and FreeFair.
(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 23:06, Reply)
I've had to stick up for Starkey on here before
Don't make me do it again.
I don't care about Quentin.
(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 23:08, Reply)
The Beatles are shit anyway.
And Ringo is one step above Ann Widdecombe as a drummer.
(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 23:09, Reply)
I like the Primals less with each release
I love their twee indie shite, less so more recent releases.
(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 22:45, Reply)
They peaked with Vanishing Point.
The best bit of Evil Heat was City and Skull X.

Great tunes.

Observe...

I'll listen at the end of this record.
Is this with Kevin Shields producing?
(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 22:50, Reply)
Yes.

(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 22:51, Reply)
I'm a bit gay for Shields, so my interest is definitely piqued.

(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 22:52, Reply)
Monty knows someone who knows him.
He 'has BO'.
(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 22:53, Reply)
Neither of those facts surprise me

(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 22:55, Reply)
I meant Monty, not Shields.

(, Sun 8 Apr 2012, 22:58, Reply)
Meh
I still prefer them when they're all shite and C86
