Christ, our internet connection is really fucking spazzing today.
How colossal is this thread, exactly?
(, Wed 11 Apr 2012, 19:44, 1 reply, 12 years ago)
If it is related to his height then it will be tiny.

(, Wed 11 Apr 2012, 19:49, Reply)
Don't push it.
You're hardly Peter crouch yourself, are you?

How tall is Plumdozer exactly?

(, Wed 11 Apr 2012, 19:53, Reply)
About 4'9"

(, Wed 11 Apr 2012, 19:56, Reply)
Bit of a rig
I come in somewhere around 6'6 and resent it if only for standing out having poorly fitted clothes and blocking the view of shorter folk at gigs.. Would you rather be freakishly short or freakishly tall?
(, Wed 11 Apr 2012, 20:01, Reply)
If there is one person around here who knows 'freakish', it's b3th.
runs away... so very far away

Don't worry, I'll get you next week.
*glares threateningly*

I'll be honest
I have absolutely no idea how tall he is.

I have an auntie who's 5' tall and her husband (coincidentally my uncle) is well over six foot. Very cute couple.

No I am not. However PD is now the official OT shortarse.

You alright mate.
We still having dinner next week?
(, Wed 11 Apr 2012, 19:59, Reply)
Good at. I hope so. Been out of the office for a couple of days. Will check with my assistant in the morning as she is managing my diary now.
How are things with you?
(, Wed 11 Apr 2012, 20:08, Reply)
Not bad.
I've been offered a 9 month extension - I've not committed either way yet, the project isn't going well and some of the people I work with are spastics, so we'll wait and see.
(, Wed 11 Apr 2012, 20:10, Reply)
Get thee to London.

(, Wed 11 Apr 2012, 20:11, Reply)
Maybe.
I'll see how negotiations pan out. I'm not ruling it out, that's for sure - but I've no intention of heading up there before the Olympics!
(, Wed 11 Apr 2012, 20:14, Reply)
Wife and I are working on a plan to be out of London whilst that glorified school sports day is taking place.

(, Wed 11 Apr 2012, 20:23, Reply)
You could start a ticket agency.
And sell tickets to see the London marathon, assuming people seem to be having a good time at the Olympics.

Have considered renting our place out for the duration
Could get £2k a week as we are close to the jubilee line. Lot of hassle to remove valuables and ensure we have decent tenants but £6k in total before tax is not be ruled out.
(, Wed 11 Apr 2012, 20:30, Reply)
6 grand would cover the cost of a nice 2 week break whilst the games are on.

(, Wed 11 Apr 2012, 20:31, Reply)
Less the cost of lost days given on a day rate
Plus I suspect Mrs Battered would worry all the time about what was happening at home.
(, Wed 11 Apr 2012, 20:35, Reply)
True.
Who not get Mrs Battered to sleep on the sofa, so you can make the 6 grand, and for you to have two weeks off?
(, Wed 11 Apr 2012, 20:36, Reply)
You haven't met my wife.

(, Wed 11 Apr 2012, 20:38, Reply)
Are you suggesting she might not buy in to this scheme?

(, Wed 11 Apr 2012, 20:38, Reply)
Quite.
Right. I am off to eat curry even though I am still full from a rather splendid lunch.
