Alt: Go over the notes I've made from the year, compare them against the work we'd been doing at the time, that way it was easier to find any gaps in my knowledge. Then, I'd redo my notes, trimming out any superfluous bits, to help me focus on the core stuff.
Then I'd get bored and go to the pub.
