It's the combat that would have me laughing.I like that there are many inner sanctums and cliques of LARP'ing involving the verious degrees of seriousness and subject. I imagine there is big in-fighting between the Steampunk, mythical-creatures-currently-existing (LOTR) and mythical-creatures-are-all-gone (GOT) lot.

not really between those, some are the same peoplethere is some snobbishness between systems, though. Oh and we all look down on 15 year old boys who's costume consists of black jeans, an inside out megadeath Tshirt and a fancy sword
