My dear old gran always told me

Very, very trueMy gran always added that men are like buses - another one will be along shortly.
I always find there are none for ages and then two or three come along at once.
Like the police really.

I like all of the aboveMy mother gave me a pad of paper when I was a young teenager. On the top of every page was printed the following:
"Men are like tissue. Soft, Strong. and Disposable."
