This is a question Phobias

What gives you the heebie-jeebies?

It's a bit strong to call this a phobia, but for me it's the thought of biting into a dry flannel. I've no idea why I'd ever want to or even get the opportunity to do so, seeing as I don't own one, but it makes my teeth hurt to think about it. *ewww*

Tell us what innocent things make you go pale, wobbly and send shivers down your spine.

This is a question reply buttons
Don't ask me why, I have no idea, but they give me the creeps. I thought I was utterly mad until one day at work I confessed to a colleague who I noticed never wore cardigans. She said yes, she was also button-averse.

I post this simply to see if we're alone in the universe.

This is a question reply I hated them as a child
I remember being a cub scout and dreading joining the scouts because I would have to swap my green cub jumper for a scout shirt with buttons. The idea of them used to make me feel sick.

It doesnt bother me now as an adult, unless I see someone with a shirt buttoned up including the top button without a tie. Then I get that feeling of revulsion.

A fear of buttons is recognised as being one of the most common phobias, as it happens.

My friend's mum has a button phobia, apparently they make her want to be physically ill and can't be in a room with too many of them. I thought it was a weird one, but seen a few posts on here. you are not alone button-o-phobes
