This is a question The Police II

Enzyme asks: Have you ever been arrested? Been thrown down the stairs by the West Midlands Serious Crime Squad, with hi-LAR-ious consequences? Or maybe you're a member of the police force with chortlesome anecdotes about particularly stupid people you've encountered.
Do tell.

My ex downstairs neighbour was a copper...
One time I locked myself out and didn't want to pay £100 for a locksmith. He was able to kick my door in with such precision that the frame was barely damaged and I could fix it with a couple of screws and some wood glue.
Top effort, Glenn.
He also turned a blind eye to the smell of massive drugs in the communal hallway.

They can do cars as well
Or they could old ones without immobilisers or alarms. I locked my keys in my old Fiat, and knowing Plod are wise in the ways of evil, wandered up the cop shop to ask if they had anyone with a coathanger or parcel strapping. Once they'd matched my name to my reg, they sent a PC down to fiddle the lock open.

Public service at its finest. Mind you, they didn't actually ask for identification paperwork. Must be my honest face.
