Mr Twisty Cheeky asks: As a contrast to last week's question - Has anyone ever been evil to you, out of the blue, for no reason? Have you ever been total twuntcake against all logic?

An acquaintance's father
Is a former royal marine. Whenever somebody irritates him, he doesn't do anything. But he writes down their details in a little book he carries with him.

18 months later, to the day, he goes round their house and slashes their tires.

are you sure he was a marine
and not just a passive-aggressive cunt?
(, Sat 18 Feb 2012, 17:00, closed)
I don't understand, does he still secretly work for the government who give him the intel on everyone who annoys him?
He must also go on special ops like commando rolling into the kitchen to get a cup of tea and shit like that

Also if he doesn't do anything why does he slash their tires whatever they are
there's alot of holes in this tall story of yours Matj

Ach
Nobody said qotw was supposed to be accurate. This is something told to me by someone I met twice while drunk. It doesn't even fit too well, but I'm drunk again so I don't really care.

What if they
don't have a car?

All that military training wasted then.
Unarmed combat, Naahhh. I'd rather sneak around like some OAP Ninja destroying peoples property rather than facing them direct.

Maybe he's read
Sun Tzu.

I have read Sun Tzu
Multiple times. As far as I can recall, this bears almost no relation to anything he says. In fact: "While we have heard of stupid haste in war, cleverness has never been seen to be associated with long delays".

From "The Art of War"
"In order to defeat your enemy - take note of their name, wait a judicious time period and then disable their means of transport by injuring their horse or sabotaging their cart-wheels."

I bet his CO is really proud of him.

Of all the internet hard men,
this has to be the least hard. Couldn't he, just once, decapitate his enemy's automobile, and chuck it in a bin?

Why wait 18 months?
Or am I missing some significance? (tires)

So he gets his revenge in a way that is not connected with him.

(, Sun 19 Feb 2012, 1:55, closed)
Isn't that just being an anonymous wuss?
Honestly I would've left out the bit about him being a Royal Marine (maybe substituted it for "a bit of a cunt").
As I suggested earlier I imagine most of his unit and CO wouldn't be too proud to call him friend or compatriot if they knew that was how he behaved.

What happens if they commute by public transport?

Then their flatmate's tyres get slashed
A workmate used to wonder why she would invariably encounter swearing, screaming, rude-gesturing drivers whenever she drove her landlady's Land Rover (she lived in a rural farm area). Turns out the landlady's son was QUITE a twunt and had offended all and sundry.

What if the car has been sold to someone else in the meantime?
Heaven forbid that people in the forces might be intellectually challenged in any way - but he does sound as thick as a Marine.

No way you big spastic, you're a mentalist.

This is a sad reflection of the neglect former servicemen have to endure.
PTSD is no laughing matter. I hope he gets the help he needs.
I don't think he's evil, or this is random but you're certainly a cunt for suggesting it.
(, Sun 19 Feb 2012, 17:41, closed)
I wonder if that's the guy...
... I kicked the shit out of about a year ago for trying to slash the tyres on someone's car outside my house?
