This is a question Money-saving tips

I'm broke, you're broke, we're all broke. Even the smug guy on the balcony with the croissant hasn't got two AmEx gold cards to rub together these days. Tell everybody your schemes to save cash.

Homemade booze
You can make homemade booze by fermenting tins of fruit from Lidl. I know this because fellow b3tan Kaol turned up at our house with a Tupperware lunchbox full of what he optimistically referred to as "wine". Tasted fine mixed with lemonade. I revarnished the table the following week.

Haha!
Well, of the 40 litres I made, I think there are still about ten left. In the bucket fermentation vessel, which I left in the garage. In Wales.

Woohoo, you have Internets!
Hmmm. If they're lucky, those old people you rented from might die before they ever get a chance to return to their shed.

(Edit: unless you mean your in-laws' house.)

i would like to learn
How to do this

It seemed to be along the lines of:
buy tinned fruit; put tinned fruit in a bucket with a lot of sugar; let it ferment. There may be a more sophisticated process involved, maybe some cheap gin primer or something. Hopefully the Scourge of Wales will return and tell us.

Pretty much.
I got a bucket with an air-tight lid.
I cut a circle in the top and fitted an airlock (see here) - They're a couple of pounds from Wilkinsons.
Sterilised the whole lot with Milton, the stuff they use for baby's bottles.

Then five cans of tinned fruit, four kilos of sugar, a packet of powdered yeast, and about forty litres of water.

Bang the lid on firm, fill the airlock half up with water.
Leave the whole thing in a warm place for a month.
Drink it.
