This is a question Sexism

Freddie Woo tells us: Despite being a well rounded modern man I think women are best off getting married and having a few kids else they'll be absolutely miserable come middle age.

What views do you have that are probably sexist that you believe are true?

Studies* have shown
that women are (on average†) less good at reverse parking than men because they have poorer spatial awareness. This also applies to map reading and sense of direction in general.

Conversely, women are much better than men (on average†) at multitasking, which is why my girlfriend can watch telly, read a book, knit a jumper and speak coherently to me on the phone at the same time, but when I as much as glance at the computer when I'm on the phone to her she immediately knows that I'm not paying attention.

* I can't be arsed looking up the references

† because obviously this is not true for all women and all men, just a majority.

Ace at it, myself
The husband, on the other hand, once tapped the neighbour's car attempting to reverse park (while drunk neighbour was standing next to it; all was well) and despite the complete lack of damage or anything else, he now panics every time and insists I get out of the car to direct him.

Bloke here.
I can't reverse park or parallel park. I'd sooner drive for 15 minutes to find an easier car park space than risk smashing my car up. Which I would.

I LOVE reverse parking
I'm good at it, a skill I inherited from my mum who can reverse park a volvo estate in the tiniest of spaces in less than 20 seconds... Awesome woman. I thank her for passing on her skills. Unfortunately I didn't get the gene that allows me to park FORWARDS! If forced to drive into a bay, the result is akin to letting a blind chimp park. It can barely pass as 'parking' and my other half refers to this method as 'abandonment'. Ah well, we can't be good at everything!
