Things you've done when you've had no money.Apart from the usual survival rations of beans, white bread and Doll Noodles™, we've all done things to compensate for having no money. Personally I spent 6 months barefoot to save on the cost of shoes. What pathetic things have you done when the cash ran out?

In the 80s when at college I discovered that old 10p coinsI discovered that old 10p coins wrapped in the foil from the old kit kat packets got accepted by vending machines as old 50p pieces. buy a 12p packet of crips or other random cheap something and you can turn 10p into 3 more 10p's and 8p.
I had a route round town i used to follow a couple of times a week to pay for cigarettes and a draw.
better money than working..
the old 5ps used to work as 1DM coins in germany too, but thats another story.
