This is a question Stupid Dares

I once dared my mate to eat one of those blue cakes out of a urinal. He won his 50p, and got his stomach pumped into the bargain.

Stupid dares, eh?

Another possibility...
All around the plant are those motivational posters, extolling teamwork and dedication and all the rest of that official wankage. Whenever I see them I growl at the geeks who actually put them up. We even have laminated ones in the hallways leading into the FAB, so you have to look at them as you stump by in your cleanroom suit.

Then one day it hit me...

Ever seen the Demotivators? I swear we have a poster with this picture on it: www.despair.com/blame.html

I need to find the poster upstairs, measure it, get one of these laminated and replace the official one with it.

I wonder how long it would take them to notice?

Others I have seen that are close:

An un-motivated American!
God no! Tell me it isn't so.

Real Americans, and I know quite a lot of them,
are quite normal, sane, decent people. It's just the few tossers who make up these motivational posters and that sort of crap that give the rest a bad name! Unfortunately, they also tend to appear disproportionately often on television. And come over here on holiday, sorry, vacation.

The Demotivators posters are great. I particularly like the consultancy one!

I like
motivational posters, they are something I can swear at and abuse without directing my ire at some fuckwitted cocknose sitting near me

Laminated, you say?
Just get hold of a chinagraph (?sp?) pencil; these things can always be improved.

Grrrr
We have one here that says "You are what you wear", and then goes in to explain why. On my list of things to make time for is to scan it and shop it (as subtly as possible - its success will be measured in 'days until removal') into something more beta-worthy.

Partly because I hate corporate bullshit, partly because I'm the scruffiest git here by a long-shot and it must therefore have been aimed at me at the very least, and partly 'cause I can't get the response "unimportant and shallow" out of my head until it's done.

In school
they did that, first we found some hidden from view in the staff rooms, then a few classrooms got the motivator posters. They lasted a week before being slowly replaced by the demotivators. I love them so much.

oh
it took the deputy head (who also taught in that room) about a month to notice. As long as the bosses don't havae to walk within a foot of the posters you shouldn't have any problems.

My Motivational Poster
I've had this sitting up by my desk for the last year -

Enjoy! (It didn't work, exactly, but I did get my thesis finished.)

On the secure door at work...
...there's a poster with the old Uncle Sam "your country needs you" picture (odd, since this is the UK), with the text "Do you know who you are letting through this door?"

At some point, someone has replaced Sam's face with that of a muppet, many months ago. Not removed yet...
