I told a friendthat Shakespeare's "King John" was about a man with a corkscrew penis. He goes through the whole play trying to find a woman with an appropriately shaped vagina, but when he finds one at the end, her spiral is going the other way around and he won't fit. That's why it's a tragedy.
When I told it I thought he understood it was a joke, but he brought it up months later as if it were true.
