This is a question Waste of money

I once paid a small fortune to a solicitor in a legal case. She got lost on the way to court, turned up late with the wrong papers and started an argument with the judge, who told her to "shut up, for the love of God". A stunning investment.

Thanks to golddust for the suggestion

(, Sun 3 Oct 2010, 19:59, closed)

scientifically, 'micropenis', but in layman's terms it's when you cant help but piss on your fingers because your cock is very very small.

Why buy 4 then?

It's a metal box with four wheels
You cant legally go any faster than a bog standard ford, but it costs a shedload more to keep on the road.

as far as I can see the *best thing* you can say for this, is that it helps pay the mortgages for a few dozen carmakersforcocks technicians
(, Sun 3 Oct 2010, 21:06, closed)
So you never break the speed limit
Either a sad Cunt.

A lying cunt.

Or both.
(, Sun 3 Oct 2010, 23:23, closed)
Yes....
more than likely
(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 7:19, closed)
you may not be able to go over the speed limit
but you can get to that limit a lot faster, and in more style and comfort
(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 13:12, closed)
style would be wasted on essexnerd above

And hope the penis implant is a complete success. Good luck on a speedy recovery!
(, Sun 3 Oct 2010, 21:02, closed)
Would look better with the Honda badge on the front
So that it looks like a decent Jap sports car instead of a shitbox Porsche.
(, Sun 3 Oct 2010, 21:53, closed)

(, Sun 3 Oct 2010, 22:52, closed)
I think that is just the lighting obscuring the badge
Disclaimer: the car illustrated is a near identical model to the 4 I owned. The car in the pic is not any of my 4 cars - all of mine were silver with red leather, yes that's right all 4 were the same.

Oh and I'm just about to buy a Porsche 911 C4S
(, Sun 3 Oct 2010, 23:27, closed)
I would kill most people on b3ta for a 911 carrera 4s
looks like I may only have to kill you
(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 13:13, closed)
I'd rather just give you the car if that's ok
It's not worth doing the time for it's a 2004 model - I'm not made of money

This could be a potential..

You spent 100k
on four red filters for your camera?

Blimey!
(, Sun 3 Oct 2010, 22:25, closed)
Funny.
You're a funny guy.
(, Sun 3 Oct 2010, 23:32, closed)
If you're going to spend that kind of money
At least do the honourable thing and buy British. I've had seven Jags in my time, and I've written off every one of them. Not only is that funding the Exchequer, but it's keeping our boys in all kinds of jobs.
(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 0:09, closed)
Don't you mean
Jaaaaag
(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 0:15, closed)
Where does one buy one of these British Jags?

(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 6:16, closed)
Fair play.
I went back to classics after the first one of those I got tried to kill me.

But they are lovely cars.
(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 10:05, closed)
the early ones were indeed twitchy
part of the fun though

9000 in the revs

238bhp form a two litre engine that will never ever break

whats not to love
(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 11:26, closed)
Clutches are shit though.
and cost best part of a grand to change.

The problem is the savagery of the power delivery. 240 horses isn't many, even in a car that small, but (especially with the early ones, mine was 2000) when you have about 100 bhp at 5000 rpm and the full nuts at jut below 6000 when the valves re-map, that half-inch of accelerator travel needs to be treated carefully in the wet.
(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 12:36, closed)
both true
and loads of fun

i never had any clutch issues but i spent a lot of money on tyres discs and pads

again money well spent
(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 14:46, closed)
Really? you've been quite lucky.
All the pre-2003 ones have the clutch go at about 40k. It's a fault in the three-plate design.

Yeah, tyres and pads were an expense but considering the rubber is specific, £400 for a full set isn't too bad. And I used to do Lotus owner's club track days, and they provide a free mechanic, so I never paid labour on fitting brake pads ;)
(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 15:19, closed)
stop it your making me consider a 5th one
i cant keep buying the same model of car
(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 15:26, closed)
Don't worry, I think you're safe

(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 20:59, closed)
Yes I knew about that
Guess it's better than some of the worrying rumours about 4 seat and hybrid that were doing the rounds. Gets to be a classic now.
(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 22:39, closed)
Get a Skyline, then

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 0:09, closed)
*Cough* GTR

I am breathless...
Gosh, four of the most beautiful pieces of engineering poetry ever to make the transition from dream to reality...

You truly are a giant among men.

We are unworthy of sharing the same timeline or reality as someone as great as you.

You egotistical, small-cocked, premature ejaculating, masturbatory delirious, twattish little cunt.
(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 22:02, closed)
That did make me smile
Sorry you drive a shit car though
(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 22:24, closed)

(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 22:43, closed)

It's the thread rozzers - right I'm orf!
(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 22:56, closed)
How dare you...
spend your money on something you enjoy. What were you thinking?

Idiots.
(, Mon 4 Oct 2010, 23:19, closed)
£100k on 4 Hondas??
are you mad? I'd take a Skyline and then a GTR over them any day, but then, that is just personal preference I suppose.

Since 2000 I've probably spunked about £5k on cars, all shit to drive but you can get 4 kids in them all.

i didn't need 4 seats, we had a VW golf my wife ferried my boy around in
only one s2 was bought from new (you learn that lesson after the first new car)

im including running costs (except petrol) so tyres brakes etc in that 100k estimate and that was over 10 years so i think it is reasonable

i personally don't like the old skyline, too pimpy - i drove the new gtr but aside from being too expensive i dont like effectively having a laptop driving for me. looks good though.

part of the reason i am buying a (second hand) 911 carrera 4 is that is still a proper sports car but i can put the wee fella in a child seat in the back (hes only 4) we also have a VW Passat estate for sensible purposes so im not having my family suffer just so i can ponce around

as someone rightly pointed out further up - why shouldn't i spend my money on something i enjoy? my family are well provided for, my wife doesn't need to work and i have no debts aside from a mortgage

and yes i will be losing my child benefit shortly and no i don't care.

i am probably am mad though.

Hey I'm not denying that the honda's and the porsche aren't good cars
just I would have chosen differently.

my comment wasn't directly aimed at you Kip
there just sometimes seems to be an undercurrent here that unless you're starving in a garret knitting your own soup, then you must by default be a frothing at the mouth fascist who dines on the filthy babies produced by single mothers.
