And re you edit: the problems with the combination of cc and 'reply to all' just does not seem to be understood by some people.

I get angry beyond belief when I get mail from someone who has cc-ed my address in with about 80 more.
They may as well give someone who I don't know my doorkeys and tell them to pop into my house and get a cup of tea if they like. No I really won't mind.

that the sender hasn't understood the concept of BCC, in the past I have done reply-all with..
