Pffft.
I quite like on one photo I saw, instead of "Getty images" or something in the corner, it just said "SCIENCE"

I just spent twenty minutes swapping the secondary hard drive from my old PC to my new one
Well, I was supposed to take the secondary hard drive, the one with all the photos and music and stuff, but I've got the one which has the operating system and program files on instead. Now I've got to take it all apart again.

Yay! go you
I'm currently trying to transfer my laptop warranty to the right country and trying to figure out whether it's worth renewing it :/
Not having used it this year is a discentive, but the 2nd year for a laptop is one of dragons and other such dangers I suspect, I can't find a way of finding out how much it costs though and previous experience tells me it's probably twice what it does in the US
= OH MY FUCKING GOD, HOW MUCH?!

The missus could probably do with your help G
He got virus 'fected a while back and is bored of not trusting it anymore, he wants to format it completely and start again. I did mine a couple of years ago but that's different to offering to fuck up someone elses system for them :D

This isn't quite true I suspect
but you probably do have a point with it potentially not being worth it, I just forked out a fair amount for it in the hopes I wouldn't have to replace it too soon
(

the most expensive thing to replace is the screen
other than that you can probably do it yourself

Well the battery is fucked
And Dell reckons it's about £130 to replace, that's virtually the price of a warranty itself. I know I can get it for well under 1/2 that price but still...
(

ebay
and also, you can dowload a battery calibration program from Dell.
(

Yeah, that's where I'm getting it from if Dell don't sort it within 5 days
(the time I have left on this warranty!)
Where do you get the battery calibration programme from? my battery doesn't hold charge at all right now so it may be too late
