15,000 posts, eh? Guess that means it's poetry time again. Sorry, everyone.
Another posting milestone passed
and yet each post could be my last;
For any day now I might leave,
and find new interwebs to weave.
I could get out and try new things
and not just sit here clicking links,
Like cooking, singing, darts or dance,
or doing weightlifts in my pants,
or even learning the trombone,
and not just /talking in my home.
Of course we know that's not my way,
And so I'll stay another day,
But I'd disappear in clouds of smoke
If 'tweren't for all you lovely folks.

You wrote that days ago

Your FACE was days ago.

I started it about half an hour ago
and finished 10 minutes ago.

I keep missing my milestones, and b3tadays.

(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:35, archived)
My 4th b3taday is approaching rapidly.
I don't know what to do for it - another poem, I guess. That seems to be what I do.
I'm ignoring gluey's suggestion down there.
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:38, archived)
do a song
I'll sing it with you :)
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:39, archived)
I will consider this option!
I'll start working on some lyrics.
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:41, archived)
excellent plan.
here is an example of a song what was written for me by another b3tan (it still needs backing vocals and a bass line)

Whoa, that's like a proper song.
I was expecting something of B3tavision standard.
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:47, archived)
I was part of a b3tavision attempt too
but we didn't get organised enough in time so missed out
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:49, archived)
Well, maybe I'll write a song
but there's no way I'll sing with you. You might catch Shit Singing Voice off me, and that'd be a terrible shame.
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:51, archived)
that piece is a fine jigsaw
- I can't sing two lines in tune in a row :P

right, I'm off to bed. night night folks

Not compared to some users.
Yourself, for example.
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:37, archived)
ahhh, but I've been here a long long time

(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:38, archived)
and I thought you'd left.
I guess I've just been on at odd times.

Hello.
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:41, archived)
I had a lengthy haitus
and I'm not usually on this late. I'm about to go to bed, Mr V is gently snoring and occasionally grumbling at me.
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:42, archived)
Ah, so I wasn't imagining your absence.
Alrighty then.
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:44, archived)

That's a nice way to celebrate.

(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:36, archived)
Well it's what I did for 5000, and 10,000.
It seemed fitting.
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:39, archived)
Well it's more than I did.
Keep it going.
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:41, archived)
You could have made a 'mash up' of your 5000 and 10,000 poems
That would be very 'now'
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 1:02, archived)
Sadly, I can find no record of the poem I wrote for my 10,000th post.
This makes me sad.
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 1:07, archived)
That's brilliant man.

but I'm actually addressing darkphoenix. Hello, you dirty lurker.
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:38, archived)
I was excited to see that I had a response from rnuk, but then I read it, and my heart broke.
I will never be the same again.
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:43, archived)
He hasn't even acknowledged all the replies to his story request.
The BASTARD.
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 0:45, archived)
That's IT. I'm boycotting rnuk now.

I was playing GTA IV
I shot a tank of propane, which caused a barbecue to fly across the roof it was on, set someone on fire and knock them off the roof, in a building like 200 fucking floors high, showing, from the best angle, their flaming fall to their death and screams of pain and horror.

Fuck yes!
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 1:05, archived)
That's lovely.

(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 1:06, archived)
It's my inner sadist, meh.

(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 1:09, archived)
I've had lots of moments like that in GTA IV
but the biggest laugh out loud moment for me:
I drove like a maniac along a road and ploughed my car into the wall of a building, right next to a woman. She jumped, and then exclaimed "that's it, I'm buying a gun!" before wandering off.
Don't know why, but that really tickled me.
(, Wed 9 Jul 2008, 1:13, archived)
gaaay
you still up boyo?
