These all cator for my stomach stuff too, like 12 o'clock starts and hospital appointments and stuff, but naturally I make it up after work or on the weekend... I'm look about 25% from home.

With all of them, I gotta learn Zend, but as someone who knows CodeIgintor inside and out, I don't think it'll be hard. Can't be _that_ much different. I wanna focus on Wordpress and Social Graph'ing though.

Zend is pretty much as you would expect
doing a bit at the mo. It has to be said though, coming from other languages (ruby, java bit of c) that php is such a comedy language, the inconsistencies and retarded way of doing things makes me weep.

Then again, it pays the bills, and you can get stuff done.

Like, my biggest bugbear thing with Wordpress is that their templates use endif type syntax, and Dreamweaver can't select inside the brackets on that, so if the indentation is fucked, I have to make it.

I'm a language bitch myself. I tend to flirt amongst them, but I'm not an dick who would shout at people for using anything. Hell. Life is too short.

Keep an open mind is what i would say. I had a fun time reverting from ruby to java. Seen as the wrong way round. I learned a lot though. Java has that excellent engineering skill base and pattern discipline that ruby people tend to ignore. I've learned a lot, has given me the confidence to ignore the shitty hype of each language.

php to me is perhaps the the poorer of them all. Which is a shame. few people go back when they move to phython/java/ruby/c#..asp..whatever microsoft use.
