I've never heard of Live, I have to say
I like a bit of Manic Street Preachers. Although I prefer Revolver by the Beatles.

Live are really good
Some of their stuff is a bit 'Christian-y' but the non-religious stuff is great. Throwing Copper is pretty cool. Imagine REM but with louder guitars.

sadly not
I hate REM with a firey, unending passion

Reading about Holy Bible
I didn't realise Manic St Preachers were so dark. I've only heard their singles.

They USED to be brilliant
When Richie Edwards
disappeared they lost more than a lyricist it seems. They sort of lost their spark. But then you can't be an angry young man forever.

they were just so American
and Michael Stipe's voice is so annoyingly nasal.

They could have been good.
I've heard bootlegs of their early gigs. And they were fun. But then they were REM

It's more that their lead singer sounds a bit like Michael Stipe than anything else
but fair enough. I'm not a massive fan of REM either. Liked them a bit around the time of Automatic for the People, but that's about it.

It's Michael Stipe that does it
I hate Bob Dylan for his annoying whiny voice too

I love Bob Dylan's debut album.
But everything else he's ever done is shit.
