I watched Prometheus last night
Visually entertaining, but the same old pseudo-philosophical sci-fi bullshit.

I want some proper sci-fi, with aliens or robots or spaceships or summink. What have you got?
(, Sun 22 Jul 2012, 18:26, archived)
might go for a drive, nice sunny evening, plenty of fuel
could do with an 'italian tune up', or an excuse to give it some to stop it from plinking all the time
(, Sun 22 Jul 2012, 18:33, archived)
#1 I've already started drinking
#2 My engine isn't connected to the rest of the car
(, Sun 22 Jul 2012, 18:35, archived)
Those inverted commas make 'italian tune up' sound like some sort of sexually deviant act.
Perverted commas.

I watched Fight Club last night
no robots.

I've got to sort out my savings bank account

(, Sun 22 Jul 2012, 18:56, archived)
marzipan is for cunts.

back of the net.
(, Sun 22 Jul 2012, 19:10, archived)
partridge is a painfully unfunny cringeworthy cunt
so it's no surprise you're looking forward to it
(, Sun 22 Jul 2012, 19:16, archived)
i feel you have somehow missed the entire point of alan partridge.

God, you really are a joyless shitdrip, aren't you.

(, Sun 22 Jul 2012, 21:31, archived)
cringe is not comedy
Someone being a socially clueless berk isn't comedy. Making it some sort of post-ironic actually-laughing-at-the-audience isn't comedy.

It's just a tired old BBC radio washup making stupid one-liners for students in a funny adenoidal voice. That's not comedy.
(, Sun 22 Jul 2012, 21:35, archived)
Coogan doesn't laugh at his audience, you're confusing him with Ricky Gervaise.
Now he really is a prize shitcunt.
(, Sun 22 Jul 2012, 22:32, archived)
I went to see it alone last sunday night at what seemed to be single middle age man o'clock
the 3D was shit and pointless apart from the opening landscapes and a couple of outdoorsy bits for scale.

(, Sun 22 Jul 2012, 21:25, archived)
no it isn't
it's a shallow saccharin tear-jerker about how we could all the save the planet if we just planted a seed and let it grow free. With a Johnny 5 rip-off blithering on about how he's fallen in love with an iPad.
