Never mind that rambunctious tomfoolery,
seen any good films lately?

I saw The Dark Knight Rises t'other week... was Good.
I watched Real Steel the other night, it were alright. Chewing gum for the brain. Entertaining enough.

I haven't been following Batman,
I've seen one of the films from years ago. Maybe two I don't know. That was in the '90s I think.

Batman and Robin is the best film.
It's got Arnold Schwarzenegger doing puns every five minutes and Uma Thurman pretending she's at all attractive.

AND GEORGE FUCKING CLOONEY!
And Neon. FUCKLOADS OF ALL THE NEON.
(, Mon 30 Jul 2012, 18:26, archived)
that's the one I've definitely seen

I like that they gave Bane a realistic hard fuck martial arts physique rather than a polished hollywood sixpack.
Rather like the 120kg judo category in the Olympics.

Olympic pyjama-pulling contests
don't make for very satisfying entertainment.

Yeah, I've seen a few
Kuki Se Vraci, and Hugo. Those were good.

Hugo.
Is that the one about the orphan kid who lives in a train station?
I've been wanting to see it. I've not heard anyone say if it's decent or not until now.

Yeah
It's got some really good moments, and pleasant if you're in the right mood.
(, Mon 30 Jul 2012, 18:31, archived)
what are they about?

Of all things to take from that trailer...
The film looks beautifully shot.

that looks awesome

It is
considering in the English version the kid's voice actor doesn't even understand English, it comes out with loads of Eastern European charm.

And the story's good too.

I'll have to see if it's on in Edinburgh anywhere

(, Mon 30 Jul 2012, 18:44, archived)
you seriously expect a niche kids movie fron central europe will be shown at a cinema in the cultural desert of Scotland?

(, Mon 30 Jul 2012, 18:46, archived)
oh yeah, loads of good arthouse cinemas here
