not joking..
A girl I know is afraid of syrup. Not cough syrup or anything like that but the stuff you put on pancakes or waffles. She had to confess her fear after her friend invited her to a local restaurant that serves only pancakes. She agreed to go but only on the condition that all syrup at the surrounding tables be removed and no one near her could have anything with syrup.

Not really me but...
I read some articles recently about two different groups. One group is the freegans. They only eat things that have been thrown out from restaurants and grocery stores. Ther other is called mineralarians that refuse to eat fruits, meats, and pretty much any real food. Not sure how serious the article was though.
